Company Summary

The Virtual Trainer is responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering high-impact remote learning experiences. This role bridges the gap between traditional classroom instruction and digital accessibility, ensuring that OCS employees—regardless of their location—receive consistent, high-quality professional development. You will be the "voice and face" of our online academy, specializing in engaging learners through webinars, virtual workshops, and interactive digital content.


Job Responsibilities

A virtual trainer's key responsibilities involve designing, delivering, and facilitating engaging online learning experiences, which includes preparing digital materials, conducting live sessions via video platforms, managing learner interaction through tools like chat and polls, providing real-time feedback, assessing progress with digital assessments, and collaborating with teams to update content, ensuring technical smooth operation and supporting learners' skill development in a remote setting.

  • Facilitation: Lead live, synchronous training sessions via platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or specialized LMS interfaces.
  • Curriculum Adaptation: Convert traditional training materials into "virtual-ready" formats, ensuring content is optimized for shorter attention spans and high digital engagement.
  • Technical Management: Manage the backend of virtual classrooms, including breakout rooms, polls, chat moderation, and troubleshooting basic technical issues for participants.
  • Engagement & Gamification: Utilize digital tools (e.g., Kahoot, Mentimeter, Whiteboards) to maintain high levels of learner participation and retention.
  • Performance Tracking: Administer pre- and post-training assessments to measure learning efficacy and provide feedback to management.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create video tutorials, quick-reference guides, and e-learning modules.


Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Location: This is an on-site position
  • Environment: Professional office setting with a fast-paced, collaborative atmosphere
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, [12:00 AM to 9:00 AM]. Occasional flexibility may be required for company events


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Education, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1+ years in Corporate Training, with at least 1 year specifically in Virtual Facilitation.
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Teams/Zoom; experience with LMS (e.g., Moodle, Cornerstone) and content tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline or Canva).
  • Communication: Exceptional public speaking skills, high "screen presence," and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
