Duties and Responsibilities:

A. RECEIVING

• Receives consignments according to the established procedures.
• Informs and coordinates with the Purchasing Assistant for the confirmation of stocks prior receiving.
• Verify supplier’s invoice to our purchase order if the same before they receive the item; GRN (Good Received Notes);

B. PREPARATION & DISPATCHING

• Prepares and dispatch stocks accurately according to the details on the document.
• Responsible for the safe handling of stocks

C. WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT

• Maintains the orderliness of the warehouse through proper stacking and putting labels.
• Ensures proper storage of stocks inside the warehouse to conform to standard warehousing procedures and parameters.
• Facilitates appropriate disposal per established procedures.
• Sees to it that the warehouse is clean and safe from rodent and pest outbreaks, fire hazards, and other accidents by promoting cleanliness inside the warehouse, providing effective pest control alternatives,
• Ensuring that firefighting equipment are functional and in place, and
• Removing other potential hazards.

D. INVENTORY

• Ensures that all stock movements are properly accounted and documented.
• Conducts scheduled inventory and responsible for the checking of stock discrepancies.
