Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a warehouse setting.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP).
• Ability to operate and train staff on warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred).
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with teams, vendors, and suppliers.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, warehouse software, etc.).

Physical & Other Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects when necessary.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods efficiently.
• Manage Inventory: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, track incoming and outgoing shipments, and minimize discrepancies.
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, company policies, and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Staff Supervision & Training: Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance. Assign tasks and monitor progress.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained, serviced, and used properly.
• Optimize Warehouse Layout: Organize storage space to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
• Coordinate Shipments: Work with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and shipments.
• Report & Document Operations: Generate reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and staff performance for management review.
• Problem-Solving: Address operational challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve workflow efficiency.
