Job Purpose

The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial records and reports across the Arbitrail Group of Companies. This role provides high-level accounting oversight, financial analysis, tax compliance, audit coordination, and advisory support to management, covering multiple legal entities rather than a single company, to ensure sound financial health and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.
• At least 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated and per-entity financial statements for the Arbitrail Group of Companies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and financial close processes.
• Manage and mentor junior accounting staff and review their work for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responses.
• Support tax planning, filing, and compliance activities.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management regarding financial performance and risk.
• Maintain strong internal controls and contribute to process improvements.
