JOB DESCRIPTION

• Trains and supervises accounting staff
• Ensures the accuracy of journal entries, schedules, reconciliations
• Prepares and analyzes financial statements and reports
• Keeps updated on new tax laws, BIR regulations, and SEC requirements to ensure compliance
• Reviews and supervises financial processes and proposes recommendations for continuous improvement
• Liaises with external auditors for audited financial statement preparation as well as government agencies such as BIR and the city government

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (required)
• CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Accounting, including financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting, and external audits
• With at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and BIR rulings
• Able to meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills
• With good leadership and interpersonal skills
