The Shift Engineer is responsible for supervising maintenance staff, especially maintenance and machine technicians, reporting to the Senior Shift Engineer, and overseeing the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of production machinery and electrical systems during the assigned shift. The role ensures compliance with engineering standards, supports operational efficiency, and promotes the safety and reliability of all plant equipment.

Your scope of responsibility shall include:

• Supervise maintenance activities, including electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, calibration, and installation of food manufacturing machinery.
• Perform fault diagnosis using PLC, HMI, and control systems, and implement equipment improvements or refurbishments to enhance productivity.
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
• Oversee inventory, request machine parts, and coordinate attendance, shift schedules, and staff training.
• Participate in Emergency Response Team duties

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience:

• Licensed Electrical or Mechanical Engineer
• At least 3 years of solid experience as a maintenance engineer, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
• Skilled in electrical troubleshooting; knowledge in PLC, pneumatics, hydraulics, and factory automation is a plus.
• Trained in OSHS (Occupational Safety and Health Standards); strong technical and leadership skills.
• Willing to work long hours and shifting schedules; and must be able to relocate or commute to Pasig City.

Working Conditions:

• Plant Ops: 24/6
• Weekly rotational shifts of up to 12 hours a day, with premium pay & night differential
• At least 1 day rest a week
• If dayshift, expect 9.6 hours Mon - Saturday
• Night shift, 12 hours
• Overtime paid
