Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the agricultural input sector, focusing on both existing and emerging markets.
  • Sales Management: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and lead a team of sales representatives to achieve their goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's product portfolio, industry trends, and competitive landscape, and use this knowledge to inform commercial decisions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets for the commercial department and provide accurate sales forecasts to management.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management.

Requisito

Skills and Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Agri business/Agri-economics/Animal Science or equivalent (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5-10 years of experience in a commercial or sales role within the agricultural input industry.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of agricultural products and industry trends.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and other applications.
  • Willing to collaborate well with cross-functional teams and has a strong appreciation and understanding of consumer insights / data-based marketing.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Can start ASAP
