Role: Software Licensing Coordinator

Location: Manila, hybrid 2 days a week in office – mid shift

The Opportunity:


The Software Licensing Coordinator will be responsible for the management of the license lifecycle and handling contract renewals, negotiating the value of contracts, and managing the lifecycle and payments of 3rd-party contractors.

Responsible for supplier relationship management and engagement.

The Licensing Coordinator will also be involved with making sure our licenses and contracts are within budgetary requirements and contribute to ongoing cost avoidance discussions.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Procurement of new licenses.
  • Management and maintenance of licensing database.
  • Reporting on licensing statistics.
  • Payment and management of 3rd-party contractor contracts, within GTS.
  • Reporting on ongoing and upcoming renewals.
  • Planning for, and managing the lifecycle of, all licensing and contracts.
  • Supplier relationship management and engagement.
  • In-depth knowledge of licensing, and their use cases within NCC Group.


Requirements


  • You demonstrate a strong understanding of licensing queries and how to provide first-call resolutions to basic licensing requests.
  • You have significant demonstrable experience of resolving complex licensing issues along with non-standard license or contract requests.
  • You have the knowledge and ability to create and define ways of working and introducing logic and process where there may be ambiguity or no existing ways of working defined or established.
  • You have a deep understanding, and a good technical understanding of all license and contract matters within Service Operations, and the wider business. You have the knowledge to manage technical licensing activities and administration tasks completely independently and manage the technical aspect of licensing through stakeholder engagement.
  • You know how to monitor and report on licenses, contracts, and renewals to enable service performance improvement and forecasting for licenses.

  • Ability to design and implement standard operating procedures and train the team in any new processes around licensing.
  • Ability to provide and maintain an exceptional standard of customer service for all support queries, through proactive resolution.
  • You continually identify process optimisation opportunities without guidance and take the lead in implementation of proposed solutions.
  • You can diagnose and prioritise licensing requests and consistently demonstrate your ability to own high priority service requests, providing regular updates to the customer until an owner is allocated and the license has been provided, or the contract renewed.
  • You proactively seek customer feedback and look for ways to improve operations and customer experience and introduce improvements.
  • Provide updates on suppliers to the wider team and engage with suppliers in a productive manner to better leverage discounts and support, returning the best support times for the business.
  • You proactively share your knowledge, skills, and learnings with the team.
  • You must be comfortable working within a budget, and understanding how to contribute positively to spend, cost savings, and cost avoidance.
