About Us

Read to Achieve Foundation Philippines Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that every Filipino child becomes a reader. Through our ALPABASA Learn-to-Read Program, we equip teachers with innovative literacy tools, materials, and training to transform classrooms into reading-ready environments.


We are looking for a organized Finance Officer or Administrative Assistant to support our financial operations and office administration. This role requires knowledge of bookkeeping, tax compliance, and financial documentation to help ensure smooth and transparent financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining financial records, including bookkeeping and budget tracking.
  • Process invoices, receipts, reimbursements, and payroll-related transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR tax requirements,
  • Prepare financial reports and assist in financial audits.
  • Monitor cash flow and expenses, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Support administrative tasks such as organizing financial files, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Assist in grant and donor financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, finance, or administration (NGO experience is a plus).
  • Knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and BIR filings. (NGO-related tax is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
