The Content Writer is responsible for producing clear, well-written, and accurate content across various formats and platforms. This role requires strong writing, editing, and research skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple content tasks. This role also supports upholding editorial guidelines and ensuring consistency across all content outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Content Writing

• Produce high-quality content for various channels, including articles, social media, marketing materials, announcements, scripts, and internal communications.
• Develop both long-form and short-form content that aligns with brand tone and project objectives.
• Adapt writing style and messaging based on audience, format, and content requirements.
• Create more complex or research-heavy content as required.

Editing & Proofreading

• Review and refine content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, structure, and overall coherence.
• Maintain strict adherence to editorial guidelines, brand standards, and company messaging.

Research & Content Support

• Conduct topic research to support content accuracy.
• Gather information from internal teams or available resources to ensure well-informed content.
• Assist in preparing outlines, content plans, or basic briefs for assigned projects.

Content Optimization & Adaptation

• Experience in SEO-focused writing, including keyword optimization, internal and external linking logic, and content architecture for improved search visibility.
• Update or refine existing content to maintain relevance and support SEO improvements.

Coordination & Collaboration

• Work closely with stakeholders and other departments to ensure content requirements are met.
• Collaborate with designers or multimedia team to ensure cohesive output across formats.
• Communicate progress, timelines, and revisions clearly.

Project Management

• Handle multiple writing assignments and deadlines.
• Maintain organized work processes and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Contribute to content planning discussions when needed.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of professional writing or content development experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to produce different types of content (e.g., corporate, marketing, social media, long-form, scripts).
• Good research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with basic content or marketing tools is an advantage.
