ROLE PURPOSE
The SEO & GEO Content Writer is tasked with crafting AI-ready, search-optimized content to elevate Complete Care Pharmacy's online presence through Google Search, AI tools, and Google Business Profiles. The role is crucial for implementing CCP's GEO Readiness Strategy and supporting content scalability for branch expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- SEO & GEO-Optimized Content Creation
- Develop and optimize service pages, FAQs, and health content using GEO-friendly structures.
- Convert Healthalogue PDFs to indexed web articles.
- Align content with CCP’s brand voice and health literacy standards.
- Content Structure & Schema Integration
- Ensure AI readability with schema markup (FAQPage, Article, Service).
- Collaborate with the web developer on metadata and structured content.
- GMB Support & Local Visibility
- Create service descriptions and bi-monthly GMB posts.
- Maintain consistency between GMB content and local branch details.
- Content Maintenance & Review
- Regularly update content for accuracy.
- Ensure clinical correctness with pharmacist assistance.
- Monitor for duplicate content and broken links.
- Internal Linking & Content Clusters
- Enhance internal linking across service and location pages.
- Develop topical clusters on pharmacy expertise.
- Reporting & Collaboration
- Generate monthly content performance reports.
- Collaborate with Branch Managers for accurate service updates.
- Support the Brand Team with campaign and seasonal messaging.
- Cross-Channel Copywriting & Social Media Support
- Produce copy for social media posts across CCP, A-Perform, GSI, and other supported brands.
- Write short-form and campaign-based content (captions, email copy, landing page copy, promotional messages).
- Ensure all written content aligns with brand tone, clarity, and communication guidelines.
- Support content calendars by providing copywriting against strategy set by the Digital Consultant.
- Adapt SEO/GEO writing skills into social-friendly formats to maintain consistency across channels.
- Serve as a flexible writing resource for multi-brand communication needs, supporting long-term cross-project efficiency.
Key Deliverables
Initial 3–4 Months:
- Rewrite service pages using AI structures.
- Complete FAQ restructuring.
- Publish 6–8 web-based Healthalogue articles.
- Implement schema markup on major pages.
- Consistent GMB posts and descriptions.
- Establish internal linking across core pages.
Ongoing:
- Publish 2–3 Healthalogue articles monthly.
- Manage GMB content and responses.
- Quarterly FAQ updates and monthly performance reports.
- Deliver seasonal health messaging.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
- Strong writing skills in health, pharmacy, or medical content.
- Proven experience in SEO writing.
- Knowledge of schema markup and AI tools.
- Ability to produce health-literacy friendly content.
- Excellent research and fact-checking skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with pharmacies, healthcare, or NDIS content.
- Familiarity with Google Business Profiles and digital marketing.
- Understanding of E-E-A-T principles.
- Experience with WordPress or similar CMS.
Working Hours
Contract / Build Phase (3–4 months)
- Approximately 20 hours per week focused on foundational content.
Long-Term / Part-Time (Ongoing)
- 8–12 hours per week for updates and content creation.
Full-Time Justification
A full-time position may be required if there is branch expansion, increased Healthalogue production, or a demand for consistent AI-ready content across channels.
