Monitoring and managing the credit and collections department
Overseeing the work and performance of credit and collections team members
Developing and implementing credit and collections strategies and procedures
Maintaining relationships with clients and vendors to ensure timely payments
Conducting regular credit reviews and assessments to identify potential risks
Negotiating payment plans and settlements with delinquent accounts
Analyzing credit data and providing recommendations for credit limits and terms
Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and accounting, to improve credit processes
Preparing and presenting credit reports and updates to senior management
Ensuring compliance with company policies, regulations, and laws related to credit and collections
Training and mentoring new credit and collections team members
Resolving escalated customer inquiries and complaints
Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members
Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions
Maintaining accurate and up to date records of credit and collections activities.

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or other field with at least 1 year experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
Proficiency in analyzing creditworthiness, assessing risk, and making informed decisions.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Meticulousness in tracking project progress and maintaining accurate records.
