Role: Model Validator

Work Arrangement: Work From Office

Location: Makati

Schedule: Night Shift

Job Description:

• Implement model validation plans to assess the soundness and performance of various models.

• Work closely with model developers to identify and mitigate risks associated with model usage.

• Conduct independent hands-on model validations and analyses.

• Prepare model validation reports outlining findings, recommendations, and conclusions for senior management, regulatory bodies, and auditors.

• Assist in regular model risk tracking and reporting, including the remediation and closure of identified issues.

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Data Science.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in model development or model validation.

• Familiarity with financial market models, including those used for credit risk, fraud detection, market risk, and liquidity risk, as well as AI/ML models.

• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and model validation.

• Experience with data wrangling and cloud platforms such as AWS.

• Familiarity with industry regulations and regulatory frameworks related to model risk management, such as SR 11-7.
