Role Outline:

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us build a secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure. You'll be a key player in our DevOps lifecycle, owning problems end-to-end from development through deployment, across the infrastructure, database, and application layers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement security practices throughout the entire DevOps lifecycle, from development to production.
• Automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation.
• Architect and automate our infrastructure using AWS and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, and implement GitOps workflows to manage it.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for enhanced speed, safety, and security.
• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to proactively detect security threats and anomalies.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for security processes, procedures, and incident reports.
• Continuously improve our security practices and processes based on the latest industry trends and threat intelligence.
• Collaborate globally with product teams and leadership to ensure a seamless and secure development process.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications and Experiences:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field of study.
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
• Deep expertise in Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Strong scripting or coding skills with Python, Go, or Bash.
• An obsession with solving problems at scale.
• Strong experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in IaC tools, including Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, or Vault.
• Experience with the LAMP stack, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis, or NFSv3/EFS.
