As an Senior SEO/SEM Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies to improve our website's visibility, traffic, and conversions. You will work closely with the marketing team to enhance our online presence and maximize ROI from paid advertising campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO:
Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms relevant to our products and target audience.
Optimize website content, including product pages, category pages, and blog posts, to improve organic search rankings.
Implement on-page SEO techniques, such as meta tags, headers, and internal linking, to enhance website visibility.
Monitor website performance using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated on SEO best practices and algorithm updates to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
SEM:
Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media channels.
Conduct keyword research and ad copy optimization to maximize ad relevance and performance.
Monitor campaign performance, analyze key metrics, and adjust bidding strategies to optimize ROI.
Identify opportunities for expansion and refinement of SEM efforts to reach target audiences effectively.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEM strategies with overall marketing objectives and initiatives.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate regular reports on SEO and SEM performance, including key metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and make recommendations for optimization.
Provide insights and actionable recommendations to inform future SEO/SEM strategies and campaigns.
Requirements:
Proven experience in SEO and SEM, preferably in an e-commerce industry
In-depth knowledge of SEO tools and techniques, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and performance tracking.
Experience managing Google Ads and other paid advertising platforms, including campaign setup, optimization, and budget management.
Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed decisions and strategies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
