职位描述

  • Performs routine laboratory examinations following Standard procedures
  • Prepares laboratory test reportsb. Prepares blood sample for send out examinationc. Accomplishes “ send-out forms” and forwards the request to the receptionistd. Monitors reliability and accuracy of each test run
  • Performs a variety of determinations on different bodily fluids such as pregnancy tests, urinalysis, complete blood tests
  • Records laboratory test results in the appropriate laboratory logbook.
  • Prepares laboratory test reports
  • Consults the pathologist for some confirmatory examination
  • Prepares specimens to be stored or transported to the reference laboratory
  • Logs in the pending logbook patient with findings
  • Submits monthly report to the Department of Health on the laboratory test done
  • Operates, calibrates and conducts performance check on clinical laboratory equipment
  • Reports to Medical Director medical equipment failure
  • Implements medical testing equipment maintenance activities
  • Maintains cleanliness of the unit
  • Maintain a log of supplies used in the laboratory and keeps area stocked with supplies
  • Makes periodic inventory of reagents, noting the expiry date
  • Prepares requisition for reagent and supplies needed in the laboratory

职位要求

  • Must be a Registered Medical Technologist.
