Job Title: Purchasing Staff

The Purchasing Staff is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring materials, supplies, and services needed by the company. This role ensures timely and cost-efficient purchasing while maintaining quality standards and good supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers for materials, equipment, and services.
• Request and review quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare and process purchase orders (PO) accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate with warehouse and other departments to monitor inventory levels and material requirements.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain an updated database of suppliers and purchasing records.
• Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements or alternatives.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and contribute to efficient procurement processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• With at least 1–2 years experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and familiar with basic inventory systems.
• Can work independently with minimal supervision.
