Our client is on the hunt for a passionate Web Designer to join their pioneer Engineering team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a remote working environment and has a keen interest in creating enjoyable user experiences that are accessible to all.

What You'll Do

As a Web Designer, your primary responsibility will be to create engaging and accessible user experiences.

• Design and build components using HTML and CSS (Sass)
• Translate requirements and create designs from rudimentary briefs
• Establish and enforce design and brand guidelines
• Follow web design best practices
• Assist every business unit with design needs such as presentations, emails, reports, visual designs, illustrations for meetings etc.
• Take charge of the company's design direction
• Occasionally work on marketing sites built using site-builder tools like SquareSpace
  
  

What You Bring

• High proficiency with CSS; TypeScript is a nice to have
• Proficiency with vector graphics
• Experience putting user experience before aesthetics (form follows function)
• Passion for accessibility
• Comfortable prototyping straight in the browser
• Ability to work closely with the engineering team
