Job Summary

Interpret customer requirements using design software and convert customer designs into drawings applicable for sheet metal fabrication.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.      Prepares production drawings from customer requirements.

2.      Converts folded/bended parts into blank-size (open-drawing) to suite in sheet-metal raw material required in turret punching and laser cutting.

3.      Formulates Work Order Process Sheet (WOPS) based on manufacturing requirements of products.

4.      Evaluates materials, tools, and processes of new product inquiries.

5.      Identifies checkpoints for QA inspection.

Qualifications/Skills Requirements

1.      Candidate must possess at least a vocational diploma / short course certificate, bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

2.      At least 2 years of working experience in related fields is an advantage.

3.      Preferably 1-4 years experienced employees specializing in manufacturing/production

4.      Able to work with minimal supervision
