THE OPPORTUNITY

Our partner, a leading Australian online investment platform that empowers individual investors, is currently hiring a Client Support Associate to be part of their team! They aim to revolutionize the way people invest in the Australian market, fostering a transparent and collaborative environment for all our users.

As the Client Support Associate, you will be providing exceptional service and support to their clients. You will serve as the main point of contact, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and providing personalized assistance to ensure their needs are met effectively. This role will support a night shift and full on-site during probation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing timely assistance related to accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention.
  • Assist clients with account setup, maintenance, and trading activities, including placing orders and monitoring portfolio performance.
  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and quality standards for client interactions and support.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve account issues and discrepancies promptly, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client issues related to transactions, account statements, and other account activities with empathy and professionalism.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams or management, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and best practices for effective client support and issue resolution.
  • Identify and escalate client complaints, high-risk transactions, and incidents to relevant teams promptly.
  • Comply with all regulatory, legal, and internal policies, maintaining high standards of conduct, data security, and confidentiality at all times.


Skills, Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Client Services or Customer Service, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Proven ability to efficiently identify and resolve client issues.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial products, services, and industry terminology.
  • Ability to adapt to changing client needs, market conditions, and organizational priorities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing client interactions.
  • Commitment to compliance with relevant regulations and a strong willingness to learn and adhere to industry standards.
