The Role


The Delivery Manager will manage projects and grow the businesses under the BAU Delivery Account. This role will be instrumental in building and improving the quality of the BAU Delivery Group by injecting process improvements, abiding through the SDLC delivery process, monitoring the delivery and building future leaders in the organization.

Your Team


  • The candidate shall be reporting to the Engagement Manager and Head of Delivery.
  • The candidate shall collaborate with Capability Technical Leads for technical resource upskilling, improving technical gaps, or technical support as needed.
  • The candidate shall manage 2 to 3 projects under the Delivery group handling agile scrum teams up to 8 resources.
  • The candidate shall work together with dedicated scrum masters and the engagement manager to manage the project.
  • The candidate shall coordinate and work together with the Stratpoint Leadership Team to implement Company-Wide processes and initiatives.
  • The candidate shall work closely with customers / third party vendors / onshore counterparts to meet the success criterias for projects.
  • The candidate shall work closely with our business partners, the household brands in technology, such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft and Outsystems.


Your Responsibilities


  • Manage projects with an eye towards quality by monitoring delivery metrics, identifying risks and creating mitigation plans. Make sure action plans are created for issues identified.
  • Grow and build opportunities within the customer account by building strong relationships with customers with an eye for business growth / scaling and managing client / stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Provides strategic leadership, oversight and management for the project team that fit customer needs through the scoping and creation of proposals, budget sheets, resource planning, managing resource availability and resource forecasting.
  • Collaborate with other Project key leaders to check that meaningful metrics related to established delivery metrics for quality, scope, cost, schedule, capacity and performance are captured, validated, reported, and most importantly on track to meeting the targets as agreed with our customers.
  • Work together with the Engagement Managers and high level stakeholders to coordinate, resolve escalations / critical issues, build process improvements / action plans for issues, identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Coach Scrum Team for process improvements identified during the project.


About You


You are/have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in project management with a focus on application development / ETL, Data ingestion / Data integration or other relevant IT experience(s)
  • Have 2-3 years in any IT roles such as Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Developer, PMO
  • Hands-on experience with a focus on product development mindset through scoping of requirements to create project proposals, budget costing, resource planning and timeline creation that fit the customer needs, create Project Management Plans; Control and Monitor project execution.
  • Hands-on experience with managing and controlling business stakeholders expectations by managing Project Scope, Quality, and Risks via delivery metrics, making contingency, mitigation, action plans, creating / communicating Project Reports to stakeholders and executives.
  • Experience leading and managing 2 to 3 project teams of at least 10 technical resources) simultaneously in an agile scrum development environment that develop different data, web and mobile technologies using cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba, etc.
  • Must have undergone Project Management training or education
  • Must know Agile development practices such as SCRUM, Kanban or Scaled Agile or any equivalent
  • Strong experience in developing staff and implementing effective performance management mechanisms
  • Practices ability to collaborate on enterprise-wide initiatives and strong experience in leading change initiatives in a service environment
  • Practices Creativity in problem solving, Agility in issue resolution, Responsibility / Accountability for the teams being managed, and Evolution in growth.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills that can adapt and influence internal teams and external stakeholders specially on the executive level to resolve conflicts or issues. Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.


Nice to Have:


  • Experience in handling technologies such as AWS, Outsystems, Azure, GCP, Javascript based web applications, mobile applications data projects using python, ETL is a plus.
