(Singapore region role-based in Malaysia)

1. Review reconciliation of merchant statements, cash receipts and POS reports.

2. Ensure timely and accurate recording of sales transactions into the accounting system.

3. Manage the Accounts Payable function efficiently, including verifying invoices, reconciling with Statements of Account, and ensuring proper supporting documentation and approvals for processing.

4. Prepare and process payments, staff reimbursements, and petty cash claims in a timely manner.

5. Handle month-end closing activities including bank reconciliation, inventory reporting, maintenance of accounting schedules, and preparation of monthly management reports for internal and statutory reporting.

6. Prepare and submit quarterly GST (Goods and Services Tax) filings in compliance with IRAS requirements.

7. Assist in the preparation of audit and tax schedules, and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities as required.

8. Communicate with external vendors, service providers, and bankers when necessary to resolve financial and transactional matters.

9. Ensure accurate and timely posting of all accounting entries into the accounting system.

10. Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records for audit and compliance purposes.

11. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

1) Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent (candidates currently pursuing relevant qualifications will also be considered).

2) Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in full sets of accounts and overall finance operations.

3) Experience in the F&B industry is preferred.

4) Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables); experience with QuickBooks Online is an added advantage.

5) Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

6) Fluent in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders); knowledge of Malay is an advantage.
