• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with brand standards and project goals.
• Collaborate with the content creator or creative lead to develop video concepts, storyboards, and shot lists.
• Add graphics, subtitles/captions, sound effects, background music, and other visual elements.
• Review and ensure final outputs meet required technical specifications (aspect ratio, file size, format, etc.) for social media and other platforms.
• Maintain an organized file system for all video assets and project files.
• Ensure all video content adheres to copyright and brand compliance.
• Suggest creative improvements and stay up to date with video editing trends, effects, and tools.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and content planning meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts, Communication, Film, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in a digital marketing or media environment.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation (After Effects is a plus).
• Strong sense of visual composition, pacing, and storytelling.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
