The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This role ensures timely processing of transactions, compliance with accounting standards, and proper financial reporting, particularly suited for the fast-paced F&B environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Prepare and record daily sales, cost of goods sold (COGS), and inventory-related transactions
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and petty cash
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing of books
• Prepare journal entries, schedules, and supporting documents
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management reports
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding billing and payments
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations
• Support audit and tax requirements as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or any related course
• At least 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry
• Knowledgeable in basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience handling inventory, sales reporting, and supplier reconciliation is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems/software
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Willing to work on-site in Manila
