The Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing construction projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The position involves leading project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing risks across multiple or large-scale construction projects.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage construction projects from pre-construction to turnover
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and work programs
  • Monitor project progress, cost control, and quality standards
  • Review and approve project drawings, specifications, and method statements
  • Manage variations, claims, and change orders
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and utility providers
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings
  • Prepare and present progress reports to management/owner
  • You will manage and maintain profitability of all projects assigned to you according to prescribed profitability range by your President.
  • You are to represent the CEC in major industry and trade events, gatherings, associations and conventions, permanently and/or in an alternate capacity whenever necessary.
  • You will help in the development of an Operations Manual


Qualifications and Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, -Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
  • Professional license Registered Civil Engineer
  • Minimum 8–10 years of construction project management experience
  • Proven experience handling large-scale or multiple construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local regulations
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., -MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD)
