Description

EV Charging Installation Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, and operation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

Responsibilities

Installation & Technical Execution

• Install, commission, and put into operation AC and DC EV charging stations
• Perform electrical wiring, panel installation, breakers, grounding, and protection systems
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals
• Conduct functional testing and basic troubleshooting (electrical and communication-related)
• Coordinate with contractors, site personnel, and utility representatives
• Prepare installation reports, test records, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and site regulations

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Strongly Preferred) /Electronics Engineering/Computer Engineering/Mechatronics / Industrial Technology (acceptable)
• Solid understanding of low-voltage and three-phase electrical systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Knowledge of circuit breakers, RCDs, grounding, surge protection
• Experience using electrical testing tools (multimeter, clamp meter, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of networking or communication systems is a plus (LAN, SIM, Modbus)
• Experience in Electrical installation, Equipment commissioning, Field engineering or EPC projects
• Experience in any of the following is an advantage: EV charging systems, Power distribution or industrial equipment, UPS, solar, energy storage, or automation systems
• Certifications (Preferred, not mandatory)
• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) or Registered Master Electrician (RME)
• Safety or electrical compliance training certificates
