Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive accountant to be part of our Global FP&A team, and

support financial operations across our Australian and Asia Pacific entities.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to month-end close, budget & forecasts, and

cashflow management, while contributing to process improvements and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities


Month-End Close Process

● Execute month-end close activities, including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and

preparing accruals across all Australian entities including Group as well as our South East Asia

counterparts not limited to GCS, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia.

● Assist in intercompany accounts receivables and payables and reconciling through Mayday and

Xero

● Ensure the timely completion of balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies.

● Review bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations

Budgets & Forecasts

● Assist the Global FP&A Senior Accountant on consolidated budgets and forecasts across the

Group.


Cash Flow Management

● Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts across the Group for Global FP&A Senior Finance

Accountant to review


Ad hoc projects

● Assist Global FP&A Senior Accountant with insights into financial performance against project

budgets.

Internal Controls and Process Improvements

● Review and enhance internal financial controls and processes. e.g. super on sole traders

● Identify areas for process optimization and assist in supporting implementation e.g. balance sheet

recs

Stakeholder Collaboration

● Respond to internal key stakeholders in a timely manner

Key Skills and Experience:

● Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CA qualification, or working towards it,

is a plus).

● Proven experience with foreign consolidation and corporate reporting in complex organizations

● Understanding of local Singaporean accounting and compliance standards

● Preferable experience with Australian accounting standards

● Familiarity with month-end close processes and financial reporting (minimum 18 month

experience is preferred)

● Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliations at month-end close

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

● Xero experience is preferred

● Essential to be proactive and have a can do attitude
