Job Summary:
The Accounting Staff – E-Commerce Dispute Specialist is responsible for managing financial discrepancies and dispute resolutions related to transactions on Shopee and Lazada platforms. This role involves monitoring sales and payment reports, identifying inconsistencies, filing disputes, and coordinating with internal teams and platform representatives to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
1. Prepare and file dispute claims related to order discrepancies, returns, cancellations, and chargebacks on Shopee and Lazada platforms.
2. Monitor the status of submitted disputes and ensure timely follow-up until resolution.
3. Reconcile Shopee and Lazada transaction reports with internal sales and payment records.
4. Identify variances such as underpayments, overcharges, and unauthorized deductions.
5. Collect and organize necessary supporting documents (e.g., invoices, delivery receipts, screenshots) for dispute submission.
6. Ensure all evidence complies with platform-specific requirements and deadlines.
7. Coordinate with Shopee and Lazada account managers or support teams to resolve complex or escalated disputes.
8. Maintain professional and timely communication with platform representatives.
9. Prepare regular reports on dispute trends, recovery rates, and outstanding claims.
10. Analyze root causes of frequent disputes and recommend preventive actions.
11. Work closely with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to gather necessary details for dispute cases.
12. Provide feedback to internal teams to improve order accuracy and reduce future disputes.
13. Stay updated on Shopee and Lazada’s dispute and payment policies.
14. Ensure all actions align with platform guidelines and internal company policies.
15. Maintain organized records of all filed disputes, communication history, and resolution outcomes for audit and reference purposes.
16. Suggest enhancements to internal processes to reduce errors and streamline dispute management.
