Job Title: Associate Manager Modern Trade Marketing

Location: Bonifacio Global City, Taguig (Office-based, on-site)

Role Summary

This position takes charge of crafting and executing trade marketing strategies within the Modern Trade channel to drive business goals across various product lines. You will be responsible for leading initiatives that boost channel performance, support sales teams, and ensure smooth rollout of marketing plans tailored to modern retail environments.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the Annual Channel Business Plan, setting clear priorities and success criteria for key SKUs.
  • Manage and monitor Distribution, Merchandising, and Execution (DME) activities specific to the channel.
  • Lead planning and creation of cascading marketing materials and trade communications to support execution.
  • Act as the marketing liaison for product innovations and new launches within designated channels.
  • Coordinate with Sales Operations and cross-functional teams to communicate trade programs and product updates.
  • Prepare and maintain a channel calendar to guide promotions and initiatives by account or territory.
  • Provide on-the-spot marketing support during customer engagements, answering product and plan-related queries.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews of channel programs to assess effectiveness and identify improvements.
  • Collaborate on the development and enforcement of Trade Terms & Allowances (TTA) guidelines to maximize investment returns and ensure strategy execution.
  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand standards and are released timely.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in Modern Trade Marketing and Sales, ideally within FMCG or Food & Beverage industries.
  • Solid understanding of project management, financial principles, and strategic planning.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team with proven leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Expertise in Shopper Marketing, with the ability to analyze data and convert insights into actionable initiatives.
  • Experienced in handling challenging direct reports and leading teams through complex situations.
