Essential Duties:

● Provide the strategic and technical leadership to build an innovative modern data platform from the ground up.

● Work closely with teammates, business users and cross-functional IT partners to lead in the identification,

planning, prioritizing, design, development, implementation and continuous evolution of all Data Warehousing

and BI initiatives

● Provide expert thought leadership in the development and implementation of data governance policies and

processes

● Partner with stakeholders to accelerate the organization’s overall data capabilities and provide the means for

increasingly sophisticated uses of data across the company

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data science, Analytics or another quantitative discipline; advanced

degree preferred.

● Technical experience as a designer/developer in the following tools

1. AWS Redshift

2. AWS Glue Studio

3. AWS S3

4. Or other related ETL tool in AWS, Azure and or SAP

● Must have background / experience in data engineering, business intelligence, data science, or a related field.

● Knowledge of data management fundamentals and modern data warehousing and ETL principles.

● Data analysis proficiency and experience managing data tools, creating and maintaining data models and solving

complex business problems by manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets.

● Ability to develop partnerships across different functional teams with a desire to work in a collaborative,

intellectually curious environment.

● Experience with SQL and Python Programming

● Must be willing to work on a flexible time and work set-up

Preferred Qualifications:

● Strong technical know-how on either of the following Big Data Applications such as, AWS and Azure.

● Able to produce Business Intelligence / Business Analytics Proof of concept based on the business requirements.

● Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile

methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations

● Experience leading large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects using big data technologies

● Strong database query knowledge and experience is a plus.

● With good communication skills.

● Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and process-driven, with an orientation toward continuous process

improvement Proven ability to drive each project to completion with minimal guidance while effectively

managing multiple
