Platinum Outsourcing is an award winning, Australian owned and managed co sourcing BPO – operating out of both the Philippines and Indonesia. We are a fast growing scale-up, opening our first offices in the Philippines only 4 years ago (and growing to 175+ employees in that time).

We have plans to expand to 200+ employees before the end of 2024.

Our client is an AUS based electrical contracting company, they are seeking an experienced electrical estimator for an immediate start.

This role is a permanent day shift, no weekends and you can work from anywhere.

About the role:

• Review tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and scope of work
• Conduct detailed cost estimation for materials, labor, and equipment
• Develop Bill of Quantities (BoQ) using industry-standard measurement techniques
• Perform accurate Material Take-Offs (MTO) – measuring and quantifying project materials
• Enter and manage data for bid evaluations. Ensure competitive and accurate pricing strategies for project bids

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cost estimation for an Australian business
• Proficiency in using Groundplan (or similar estimating/QS software) and MS Excel is a must!
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, contracts, and tender documents.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and English communication skills.
