THE OPPORTUNITY

Our partner, a leading provider of private rehabilitation centers and co-located clinics within aged care facilities across Australia, is seeking a dedicated IT Support officer to join their team! Renowned for offering a comprehensive range of allied health services, they stand out as one of the few allied health groups in Australia actively conducting research within their clinics, promoting a holistic, client-centered approach to treatment.

As the IT Support Officer, you will play a key role in providing first-line technical support to employees and customers via phone, email, chat. Reporting directly to the Australia-based manager, you will ensure seamless workflow and facilitate effective collaboration between onshore and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support to employees and customers.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
Install and configure computer systems.
Provide staff with training on IT-related topics.
Maintain IT service desk system.
Procure computer hardware and equipment from approved vendors.
Document all technical support interactions.
Ensure adequate documentation of the systems is kept and is up to date.
Prepare any reports as requested.

Skills, Experience & Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
3+ years of experience in IT or Applications support. Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Windows, Google Workspace, Microsoft, and other common software applications.
SalesForce experience is nice to have.
Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills
Excellent in written and oral communication.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Solid work ethic, positive attitude, and openness to learning
