We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant experience to join our team. This role involves assisting in payroll preparation, managing day-to-day financial transactions, and supporting various accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The position requires onsite work at our office in Ortigas Center, Pasig.


Payroll:

  • Assist in preparing payroll and monitoring employee attendance and timekeeping records to ensure accurate processing.
  • Verify employee leave balances and update records accordingly.
  • Address payroll-related concerns and discrepancies raised by employees.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Review and prepare invoices for clients, ensuring accuracy before sending.
  • Monitor invoice status, follow up on unpaid accounts, and confirm payments received.
  • Prepare cash disbursements, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reports bi-monthly.

General Accounting Duties:

  • Record daily financial transactions with appropriate documentation.
  • Maintain and update subsidiary ledgers, books of accounts, and filing systems.
  • Prepare journal vouchers and checks in line with approved cash flow summaries.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare quarterly budget reports and monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
  • Develop financial statement reports for management use.
  • Assist auditors during internal and external audits by addressing queries.

Compliance and Administration:

  • Support the preparation and filing of mandatory government remittances.
  • Coordinate with the admin team to ensure accurate employee records.
  • Provide certifications and other documentation as requested by employees or management.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other teams to provide timely and accurate accounting support.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and other related duties as required by management.


Syarat-syarat

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in general accounting and payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with government compliance requirements for payroll and remittances is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work onsite at our office in Ortigas Center, Pasig.
