Job Overview

The Onboarding Specialist engages with new hires and collaborates with the Recruitment Team, company managers, and hiring manager to process various pre-employment requirements. The Onboarding Specialist’s focus is on process management, process improvement, and problem resolution relating to all pre-employment requirements. When executed properly, the Onboarding Specialist is the key to us providing an excellent hiring and onboarding experience to our new hires.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Facilitate the collection of pre-employment requirements and ensure that only new hires with compete requirements are endorsed to the training class
  • Point of contact for all questions related to pre-employment activities from candidates, recruiters, and other internal departments
  • Capture issues and identify resolution pathways for recurring problems ensuring that Onboarding processes are always updated and compliant with Philippine government requirements
  • Enter the government numbers submitted by new hires in the company’s HR system
  • Update and maintain a central file of new starters. Ensure its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of submission
  • Coordinate with Finance department and the company’s corporate bank to ensure that all new hires have the necessary payroll requirements
  • Attend inter-department meetings and suggest process improvement if necessary

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Proven work experience as an HR Onboarding Specialist or in a relevant role
  • Basic knowledge of the HR practices, local employment labor laws, and regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Thorough and meticulous in completing assigned tasks and with the ability to propose ways to prevent or eliminate discrepancies
  • Can effectively communicate within a varied audience and internal and external customers using different platforms
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.


Education/Experience

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience


Requirements

• Employment: Probationary – Full Time

• Must be willing to report onsite at Greenhills, San Juan City, Philippines

• PH Midshift Schedule
