Job Summary:

The Accounting Officer is responsible for payroll processing, government-mandated contributions, including Employees Benefits (in coordination with HR).

PAYROLL:

1.   Coordinates with Human Resources Department (HRD) for the timekeeping.

2.   Processes payroll by generating payroll register from the Company’s payroll system.

3.   Ensures correct entries in the payroll system including but is not limited to, government-mandated (SSS/ PHIC/ PAGIBIG) deductions, SSS/ Pagibig loans, and cash advances. This includes proper documentation such as Payroll report and vouchers.

4.   Ensures that Net Pay tallies with the Bank Payment Transmittal.

5.   Distributes Payslips to Employees.

6.   Computes and analyzes sales commission/incentives and other benefits

7.   Computes Leave Conversion.

8.   Computes 13^th month pay and other benefits.

9.   Computes and prepares last / final pay computation of separated employees.

10. Ensures that all employees compensation (and other form of compensation) pass through the proper approval (HRD and President).

11. Prepares necessary Adjusting Entries and forwards to Disbursement Team for proper entry in the Accounting System.

A.  BIR FILING:

1.   Provide data to the Bookkeeper in reference to the following BIR returns.

2.   Prepares the Alphalist for Withholding Tax on Compensation and distributes BIR Form 2316 to employees.

Checks / verifies reimbursements and liquidation of the following and makes necessary adjusting journal entries:

• Sales Department
• Support Group doing field work (e.g. audit of branch / IT trouble shooting)

Coordinates with Accounting Consultants.

Assists the Auditor during year-end audit (e.g. provide requirements – employees alphalist)

Other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.
