Closely work with the clients, in doing business analysis to clearly define business requirements as well as potential project scope and objectives to effectively relay it to the tech team in a well-defined systems specifications document.
Participates in the evaluation, assessment, and planning of IT Projects and implementation strategies with the PMO lead to ensure timely delivery to the business and clients.
Assess and re-engineer processes (as needed) to deliver greater organizational effectiveness and efficiency to the business and its stakeholders.
Own and develop relationships with clients/stakeholders (both internal and external) and IT counterparts to optimize systems, processes and enhance integrations.
Clearly identifies and documents how applications and systems function to support business processes and to identify areas of enhancements.
Efficiently and accurately provide to the client/ business and tech team project & systems documentations for each project such as functional specifications, business requirement documentations, technical specifications documents and the like to properly translate business requirements to systems requirement.
Writes test plans and test cases to ensure system changes meet client needs and that application integrity is maintained.
Prepares system data for User trainings and User testing in coordination with the Solutions team.
Train internal and external clients on changes, new systems or new procedures.
Conducts and effectively documents a variety of tests such as system, integration readiness, and acceptance tests, and ensures proper approval and execution of such activities and documents.
Runs and leads the User Acceptance testing and User training together with the Solutions team.
Validates that the business requirements are correctly translated into technical changes in the system.
Understand advanced and complex IT lingo not only on a project management context but also in other areas of IT that may be required in the implementation of a project (e.g., database, network, security and the like) and translates them into business-like information that will help business stakeholders synchronize with the team and in their decision-making.
Conduct post implementation reviews with the business users and communicate key insights and findings to the Solutions and development team.
Regularly report progress and project details and issues to the PMO Lead.
Builds and maintains the roster of User and System manuals for end users.
Qualification and Experience:
Graduate of at least 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science/IT/Business Management.
At least 2 years relevant experience as Business Analyst, preferably in an IT consulting or in an enterprise company. With solid experience in handling systems development projects.
Proven experience in business requirements gathering, and very detailed in both configuration specifications documentation.
Able to effectively estimate work effort for projects (both major and minor) and ensure the project is successfully completed on time.
Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
Can manage multiple tasks and projects effectively and is able to prioritize important tasks to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas.
With excellent work ethics.
A team player but is also versatile enough to work independently on tasks that needs personal focus and effort.
Background in systems development and understanding scripts is a plus.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
With excellent written & communications skills.
