- Assist the Region Operations Manager in day-to-day operations tasks for projects
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate channels
- Source and recruit candidates using databases, social media networking, referrals, etc.
- Screen candidates’ resumes and job applications before filtering to the relevant project within schedule
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and attitudes
- Onboard new employees to ensure they become fully integrated
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships
- Maintain and input active recruitment database
- Be analytical and ensure recruitment reports are submitted accurately and on time
- Assist in operational quality surveys, ad-hoc project checking, and providing feedback on any recruitment/project issues
- At least a diploma in any field
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in retail, merchandising, FMCG, or a related field (advantageous for this position)
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage
- Proactive in resolving issues, able to think out of the box, with a positive working attitude, ability to work independently, strong sense of urgency, results-oriented, and resourceful
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate and technologically savvy
- Possess own transport and willing to travel
