Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in tourism or allied courses

  • A minimum of at least one (1) year of work experience in a similar role.

  • Experience using a GDS system, preferably Galileo and/or Amadeus.

  • Experience in corporate, marine, international, and domestic travel.

  • Knowlege of visa process and requirements

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Able to communicate confidently and negotiate effectively, both verbal and written.

  • Close attention to detail and highly organized.

  • Able to work independently or on a team.

  • Good prioritizing skills and ability to follow through.

  • Able to work long and flexible hours, if necessary.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Plan and arrange details for travel including itinerary, travel cost, and auxiliary service.

  • Look for the best available options including the lowest available fare.

  • Communicate with vendors of travel-related services to negotiate the best deals.

  • Process airline reservations and ticketing.

  • Book transportation and hotel reservations.

  • Provide travel documentation and visa assistance.

  • Resolve any travel issues complaints, and refunds that arise

  • Maintain good relationships with clients.

  • Perform general administrative duties which include, but not limited to, preparation and issuance of travel invoices, payment, and billing of clients.
